About Us
Be a dear and do stop by this wonderful shop in the former warehouse district that is trendy Miami Circle. Gail, Katie and Betsy Dearing have put together one of the area's most charming little stores, featuring a grand selection of English and French country furniture, as well as an unrivaled assortment of Majolica, decorative items and Russian art. The displays of festively-colored dishes, plates, and pottery are themselves worth a visit, but be forewarned... Few who pass the Dearing doors are able to escape without a cherished little bag under their arm.

Our History
More than 26 years ago, Gail Dearing had no idea that her love for antique American wicker would mature into one of the longest lived antique businesses in Atlanta. Originally selling out of her basement, she specialized in vintage wicker that she picked up on the back roads of New England. As her reputation with designers spread, she opened a small shop called 'Heirloom Wicker' with her friend, Jeanne. In 1984, Gail and Jeanne relocated to a then unknown Buckhead warehouse district on Miami Circle and expanded their business to include English pine furniture and English majolica. In the early 1990's after Jeanne retired, Gail was joined by her daughters, Katie and Betsy. Today the shop maintains an ever evolving inventory of English period antiques, French country furniture and many decorative items. Collectors know that Dearing Antiques is the place to find majolica.
